The second episode of London Student’s bi-weekly podcast gears us up for the general election by looking at our voting habits and asking: why are young people so prone to voting for left-wing, globalist parties?
Becky reckons young people are just as selfish as any others when it comes to their political habits, so vote for the parties whose policies are explicitly designed to make their lives easier. Charlie thinks they’re bigger into wealth parity and sharing than older people who have more to share. While Marie thinks they’re better able to take advantage of outward-looking, globalist policies than the older generation.
We also look at what your political affiliations say about your sex life, and Becky reveals her struggles with birds.
